The 117 FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh becomes the guests of honor at the 117th Stiftungsfest

FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh and Vietnamese-born Philipp Rösler, Former Vice-Chancellor of Germany joined at this year's Stiftungsfest - a trade promotion and cultural event as the guests of honor.

According to Mr. Thomas Kriwat, OAV holds Stiftungsfest to connect modern and traditional culture as well as promote cooperation between Germany and other countries. This year, the event featured Vietnam as a partner country. FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh and Vietnamese-born Philipp Rösler, Former Vice-Chancellor of Germany were the guests of honor. Thomas Kriwat also expected FPT to be a bridge between the city of Bremen in particular and Germany in general andVietnam.

Thomas Kriwat stated that FPT was one of the largest ICT companies in Vietnam with more than 32,000 employees.

Delivering a keynote address as the guest of honour at the event, Mr. Binh said: "With stable macroeconomic indicators, young human resources and open government policies promoting technology development in the digital revolution, Vietnam is considered an attractive destination for foreign businesses and a gateway to potential Southeast Asian markets". He added that FPT is a partner of German enterprises in Industry 4.0 and willing to cooperate with the companies taking part in Stiftungsfest to pioneer digital transformation.

FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh was one of the two guests of honor at the event.

At the event, Mr. Truong Gia Binh and 11 ambassadors of Asian countries in Germany signed the visitors' book of the City of Bremen and made a visit to the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and some large companies in Bremen. At these meetings, the Chairman of FPT discussed opportunities for cooperation in some technological fields which FPT have been involving in from a position of strength namely artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh signed the visitors' book of the City of Bremen.

Stiftungsfest was held for the first time in 1900. This year's event attracted nearly 400 business and political guests from Asian countries, the city of Bremen and surrounding areas. There are 11 ambassadors of Asian countries to Germany and many German giants such as Kuehne & Nagel, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Daimler and Melchers etc. FPT was the only company outside Germany to attend the event at the invitation of Chairman of OAV Bremen Thomas Kriwat.
