FPT Chairman inspires career beginners

"The path you choose generates many opportunities because you do not waste time and energy doing unnecessary things. But it is not easy to walk on. I hope that you will not be discouraged".

This was stated by Mr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT Chairman at the meeting with students who were not involved in technology sector but paid much attention to this field and desired to join FPT Software.

According to Mr. Binh, although Vietnam lacked IT labor force, many young people with passion for information technology could not join this area because of not specializing in this field. Thus, with this new learning method, FPT aimed to bring new opportunities to the youth. "With the current method, you take 4-5 years to learn and another 1-2 years to get used to the jobs. So you will have to take about 5-7 years to get a job that you enjoy. But with the new method FPT introduces, you will learn directly on the job, which means that you will walk a straight path. The path you choose generates many opportunities because you do not waste time and energy doing unnecessary things. But it is not easy to walk on. I hope that you will not be discouraged”, Mr Binh stated.

This event was part of the program named "Career beginners – Learning today, getting a job instantly" by FPT Software, FPT’s member companies specializing in software export. The program was for students those did not specialize in information technology but had passion for technology and IT basic knowledge and desired to join FPT.

Joining this program, the students will attend FPT Software’s course on open websites in about 3-6 months. After completing this, they will be admitted to FPT Software and given opportunities for promotion if they proved their ability.
