FPT continues to support frontline nurses and doctors to fight Covid-19
Responding to that spirit, on July 31st and August 2nd, 2020, FPT continued to give away medical protective equipment and essential necessities to the frontline healthcare staff in Da Nang and Quang Nam to provide timely support for COVID-19 prevention.

The second wave of Covid-19 suddenly hit a number of provinces in Vietnam, including Da Nang, Quang Nam and is becoming more and more complicated. The medical team - the "white-shirted soldiers" - is dedicated day and night and strives to treat infected patients at the frontline.
With the spirit of "every FPT employee always has their back", FPT understands that the prerequisite and necessary act right now is to support and promptly respond to the medical team at the frontline who is protecting people and community from the epidemic.
Responding to that spirit, on July 31st and August 2nd, 2020, FPT continued to give away medical protective equipment and essential necessities to the frontline healthcare staff in Da Nang and Quang Nam to provide timely support for COVID-19 prevention.
On July 31st, 2020, FPT gave away 5,000 medical protection suits, 5,000 face masks, VND 500 million and hundreds of daily necessities such as shampoo, toothpaste, face towels and wishes "Be strong, be healthy, win Covid-19" to the medical team at 3 hospitals that are directly treating Covid-19 patients in Da Nang. Along with supporting the team of frontline doctors and nurses in Da Nang, FPT also deployed the entire infrastructure, high-speed Internet connection for free; the internet system of FPT covered an area of more than 10,000m2 in Da Nang. This is one of FPT's efforts to support Da Nang's health sector in the fight against Covid-19 epidemic. Ensuring communication at the field hospital is essential as it helps to improve the quality of reception, monitoring, treatment and other activities in the hospital.
On August 1st, with the desire to support Quang Nam province in preventing Covid-19 pandemic actively and willingly, FPT gave away 2,800 protective suits and 2,800 face masks for the medical team in the province. The total value of support is VND 2 billion which is included in VND 20 billion support package against Covid-19 contributed by FPT and FPT’s staff. "FPT wishes to be the companion and to share with the leading soldiers in the battle against the Covid-19. Small contributions but with great hope will add energy and spiritual cheer to the frontline force of Da Nang city in this war. Wish the frontline doctors health and resilience to win the epidemic," said the representative of FPT Corporation. FPT believes that the previous experience in the first period of the COVID-19, together with solidarity and consent from the government, ministries, businesses and citizens will help Da Nang and Vietnam create a miracle in the fight against Covid-19.
Previously, with the VND 20 billion support package for Covid-19 prevention, FPT gave away medical equipment and cash gifts to frontline doctors and military forces in many provinces such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Hai Duong.
With its contributions, FPT has been recognized by Forbes as an enterprise with outstanding contributions to the fight against Covid-19 in Asia.
According to Forbes, FPT joined hands in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with technology solutions such as building nCov virtual assistant within 7 days to automatically answer all questions about the epidemic 24/7; supporting a 2,000-room isolation site at Hoa Lac dormitory, donating medical equipment worth VND 20 billion to frontline doctors and nurses. Besides, FPT's VioEdu online training system is free for students from more than 15,000 schools during the days when they cannot go to school due to Covid-19.
