FPT Proposes Partnership for Digital Transformation and Educational Investment with Bac Kan

On May 21, 2024, FPT Corporation and the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee proposed initiatives for digital transformation and the development of the education sector.

At the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Dang Binh of the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee stated that FPT Corporation leaders have recently directed and assigned teams to survey and assess the current situation, laying the groundwork for strategic cooperation.

The two sides exchanged ideas and proposals, consulted on initiatives, and supported the use of tablets, phones, provincial programs, and software solutions for digital transformation. This collaboration lays the foundation for more profound and extensive cooperation, delivering practical value to the province and FPT Corporation.

The province has achieved notable successes in real estate, IT, and administrative reform. Specifically, Bac Kan has made significant strides in administrative procedure reform, climbing 44 places in the digital transformation index ranking. We hope to see Bac Kan's ranking continue to rise, and we extend our gratitude to FPT for their support and partnership in these efforts", Mr. Nguyen Dang Binh emphasized. Reflecting on a year of collaboration between both parties, FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa expressed the desire to expedite progress. In digital transformation, FPT aims to partner with Bac Kan to accelerate the implementation of Project 06 of the Government. FPT is committed to providing support to Bac Kan through a range of solutions to facilitate swifter progress, including the authentication solution for public service portals, online testing, and electronic medical records (EMR).

In the field of education, FPT has proposed cooperation with the local leaders for future development endeavors. Furthermore, Bac Kan's leaders have acknowledged FPT's substantial domestic and international growth over the past year, notably its participation in major state projects. The FPT brand is steadily gaining strength, and alongside FPT, Bac Kan finds renewed motivation and inspiration for socio-economic development, digital transformation, and advancements in IT.

Previously, in May 2023, FPT entered into a digital transformation cooperation agreement with the People's Committee of Bac Kan Province. Following this, FPT promptly established a working group to assess the current status of digital transformation initiatives and propose solutions for various key offices, including the Provincial Party Committee Office, Departments of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Construction, Industry and Trade, Education, and Investment Planning. FPT has also engaged in activities with the province, such as providing support through 40 smartphones for those facing difficulties and 15 tablets for the Departments of Education.
