FPT proposed to collaborate with Tay Ninh province in digital transformation

FPT Corporation's representatives, including CEO Nguyen Van Khoa and other corporate leaders, had a meeting with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh Province on April 12, 2023. The partnership in the digital transformation between Tay Ninh Province and FPT Corporation was discussed at the meeting.
Attending the event on the side of Tay Ninh were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc - the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - and representatives from various departments and agencies. On the FPT side were Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - CEO of FPT - and representatives of the Corporation's subsidiaries.

FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa stated that FPT was celebrating its 35th anniversary this year with the mission of "building a happier future" for all. FPT has operated in 29 countries, focusing on digital transformation and putting Vietnam on the global science and technology map. To achieve this goal, FPT is concentrating on nurturing a high-quality labor force and following the Government's guidelines on digital transformation. The Corporation aims to reach one million employees by 2035.
According to Mr. Khoa, FPT hoped Tay Ninh's local leaders would create favorable conditions to promote cooperation in high-quality human resource training and digital transformation.
"With its technological strength, FPT will partner with Tay Ninh to identify key areas to enhance the efficiency of public services, promote administrative reform, enhance the investment environment, and simultaneously provide high-quality education. Based on FPT's advantages and Tay Ninh's ambitions for knowledge and development, we will create a successful alliance," affirmed the CEO.

At the working session, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, affirmed that Tay Ninh paid significant attention to the digital transformation and the socialization of education. The locality highly appreciated FPT's efforts and agreed with its investment orientation in the province. "With this newly established cooperation with FPT, we desire to bring Tay Ninh's PCI (Provincial Competitiveness Index) into the Top 10," emphasized Nguyen Thanh Ngoc. The Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned specific tasks to the Departments of Education and Training, Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs, Planning and Investment, and Information and Communications to collaborate with FPT in surveying, proposing effective cooperation models and accurately evaluating the strengths/weaknesses of digital transformation in Tay Ninh to identify priority areas for development.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that specific proposals should be clarified for each area before April 30. Besides, the collaboration must be implemented in strict compliance with legal regulations. With the support of the Government and local leaders across the country, FPT has signed cooperation agreements with 26 localities and offered training services to tens of thousands of provincial leaders at all levels regarding digital transformation in the past year.
