FPT Proposes to Build an Inter-Level High School in Dong Thap

On September 30, at the meeting with the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, the CEO of FPT, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, proposed to build an inter-level high school (Primary, Secondary, High School) in Cao Lanh city with a yearly intake of about 3,200 students.

Along with the desire to accelerate the digital transformation in all three pillars of digital economy, digital society, and digital government, FPT also suggested supporting Dong Thap to implement digital solutions, including cashless payment solution (Foxpay), digital transformation for enterprises with Base.vn - the platform and digital software services.

Promoting digital transformation and enhancing the quality of resources are considered critical tasks of Dong Thap province. Therefore, provincial leaders and representatives of local departments and agencies highly appreciated FPT's proposals and looked forward to their early implementation.

Speaking at the event, the Chair of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, Mr. Pham Thien Nghia, expressed his gratitude to FPT for its support, primarily through practical programs and activities.

According to Mr. Pham Thien Nghia, Dong Thap province has developed the Digital Transformation Scheme with 03 areas: Digital Government, Digital Society, and Digital Economy. The provincial leaders will examine the proposals and solutions offered by FPT for further process, including signing cooperation agreements to promote education and digital transformation in the locality based on FPT's core strengths.

Regarding education, the Chair reconfirmed that Sa Dec and Cao Lanh were recognized by UNESCO as global learning cities. Therefore, it brought positive prospects for the Corporation to invest in education in Dong Thap. At the same time, he also recommended several places for FPT to land its school.

With the support of the Government and local leaders across the country, FPT promoted high-level discussions with leaders of more than 40 localities in the past year. In addition, it signed digital transformation cooperation agreements with 21 localities and gave digital transformation training sessions for tens of thousands of provincial leaders at all levels. Based on its digital transformation experience, local socio-economic characteristics, and competitive advantages, the Corporation will accompany provinces to develop comprehensively on all three pillars (Digital Economy, Digital Government, and Digital Society) toward the digital nation model. Furthermore, it will help localities flexibly adapt to the new normal by consulting on socio-economic development planning, digital transformation scheming, and training to raise awareness on a large scale.
