FPT deploys a smart hospital for Hoan My Medical Corporation

On August 20^th, 2020 in HCMC, FPT Information Systems F (FPT IS) and Hoan My Medical Corporation (Hoan My) officially signed a contract for the implementation of the comprehensive hospital management system FPT.eHospital 2.0 and the electronic medical record management system FPT.EMR. The project marks an important step for Hoan My towards the paperless smart hospital model in order to serve the people, and affirms the coalition efforts of two big corporations to promote change in the health sector and contribute to building a digital nation.

The application of technology in executive management which Hoan My has been invested in for many years is to improve the quality of service, meet the needs of human health services, as well as enhance the operational efficiency of the Hoan My Group

However, with the increasing number of patients and the hospital and clinic networks which are expanded rapidly in recent years, the demand for digital technology application to manage the hospital records and operate the hospitals and clinics consistently and effectively becomes more urgent than ever. In order to fulfil this need, Hoan My has took a strategic step: building an overall intelligent and centralized management system to optimize the operation of the system and strengthen the utility for patients.

Overcoming many leading technology companies in the country and in the world, FPT as the leading digital transformation expert with many “Made in Vietnam” digital solutions, product ecosystem, and implementation experience and capabilities as well as understanding of medical profession for many years, has become a strategic partner of Hoan My in this project.

According to the plan, FPT will deploy the comprehensive hospital management system FPT.eHospital 2.0, build the  electronic medical record system FPT.EMR and provide cloud services whose data is stored on FPT Hi Gio Cloud platform for Hoan My. The project with a total value of VND 100 billion is implemented for 14 hospitals, 8 general clinics and family doctor clinics under Hoan My within 28 months.

When the project comes into operation, customers can learn about the hospital, look up information about doctors, book appointments for medical examination, view personal information, access test results and medical records, etc. fast and conveniently anytime, anywhere,” stated Ms. Nguyen Thuc Anh, CEO of Hoan My Medical Corporation.

FPT.eHospital 2.0 and FPT.EMR are two key products in the digital medical solution/product ecosystem researched and developed by FPT for many years. Currently, there are 6 departments of health and more than 300 hospitals and medical facilities nationwide which are operating effectively "Made by FPT" smart hospital management system such as Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, Department of Health of Quang Ninh, Department of Health of Dong Nai, Cho Ray Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, City International Hospital, etc.

Applying the most modern technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data (Big Data), FPT's digital medical solution ecosystem allows hospitals to optimize their operations to serve people more quickly and more accurately. Hospitals, medical facilities can also share open data, easily connect and expand, thereby offering modern healthcare solutions towards smart health.
