FPT discussed cooperation opportunities in digital transformation with the world

On the first day of the five-day business trip to the United States (from September 24 to 28), FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh had bilateral meetings with leaders from top five global corporations to to promote cooperation opportunities in the digital transformation.
During the meeting with UPS leaders - the world's largest logistics company, Binh shared that FPT was ready to support UPS in carrying out Digital Transformation, not only in the United States but also in all of the countries where UPS was operating. The company was also willing to support UPS in launching new business initiatives. UPS leaders highly appreciated FPT's presence in Atlanta through Intellinet M&A.
Previously, in 2017, FPT signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UPS. Under the cooperation agreement, FPT provides cutting-edge technology solutions and IT services to help UPS expand its business, optimize its operations, and bring benefits to customers and shareholders.
The FPT Chairman joined the Business Breakfast between Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and leaders from 20 billion-dollar enterprises from various industries including IBM, AIG, AES, GE, AT&T, Walmart, etc. in the framework of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Business Breakfast, co-hosted by FPT and Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU).
The prime minister called on investors to contribute ideas to help Vietnam make breakthroughs in the finance, education, healthcare and agriculture sectors amid the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
U.S. firms expressed their optimism over the prospects of investment in Vietnam and their confidence in the Vietnamese Government’s determination in improving the business environment, developing infrastructure and promoting the digital economy.
Carlos Brito, CEO of AB Inbev highly appreciated Vietnam's investment in IT, one of the important factors for transparency in an investment environment.
GE's head of digital, Bill Ruh expected the Vietnamese Government to direct the competent agencies to expedite the issuance of preferential policies that facilitate investors’ operations in digital economy, digital transformation.
In addition, Motorola wanted to help Vietnam build smart cities and has proposed the Government assist it to translate this proposal into reality.
