FPT Strengthens International Connectivity, Welcomes U.S. Consulate Delegation to Semiconductor R&D Center in Da Nang

Recently, FPT Corporation welcomed a delegation from the U.S. Consulate General for a visit and working session at its High-Tech and Semiconductor R&D Center in Da Nang. The visit reflects the United States’ growing interest in Vietnam’s technological capabilities and its potential to participate in the global semiconductor value chain, while also opening up opportunities for cooperation in the high-tech sector.

The delegation included Ms. Annie Ahrendsen from the Economic Section, along with Mr. Matthew S. Jamrisko, a representative of the U.S. Embassy. The visit reflects the growing interest of the United States in Vietnam’s development capabilities and cooperation potential in the semiconductor sector.


During the program, Mr. Nguyen Cao Thanh, Head of FPT Semiconductor’s Da Nang Office, FPT Corporation, shared an overview of the company’s development strategy, technological direction, as well as FPT’s practical experience in deeply engaging in the global semiconductor value chain. These insights highlighted the increasingly important role of Vietnamese enterprises within the international technology ecosystem.


Notably, both sides participated in an open discussion session focusing on strategic cooperation opportunities in the future. The session not only opened up potential avenues for collaboration but also contributed to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of high technology and semiconductors.

The visit marks an important milestone for FPT in its pursuit of mastering core technologies and expanding international partnerships, while further affirming Vietnam’s increasingly prominent position on the global semiconductor industry map.
