FPT employees delivered over 1,000 gifts from Hanoi to Tuyen Quang, each carrying heartfelt sentiments for their colleagues and fellow citizens affected by the historic storm and flood.
On the morning of September 12, just a day before the Corporation's anniversary, FPT employees gathered at FPT Tower Hanoi, preparing for a meaningful trip to Tuyen Quang. The relief team carried over 1,000 essential gifts to support residents struggling in the aftermath of the recent storm.
Recently, images of FPT colleagues in the Northern provinces severely impacted by storms and floods have deeply moved the entire FPT community. FPT Retail and FPT Telecom have been hit the hardest. In response, FPT Union swiftly launched a relief plan, receiving strong support from employees across the organization. Everyone came together to contribute and share the burden with those in the flood-stricken areas.
FPT Tower was buzzing with activity from the early hours as employees packed and loaded supplies.
Tuyen Quang was selected as the first stop for FPT's relief efforts. Armed with up-to-date information on the local situation, the team carefully prepared practical gifts and essential supplies to support FPT employees and residents in need.
To ensure the timely delivery of supplies, the relief team collaborated with Sendo Farm, allowing for quick and complete preparation of the gifts. By 2:00 p.m. that same day, the trucks were on their way to Tuyen Quang.
Over 1,000 support packages were carefully packed, containing essentials such as lotus porridge, milk, cakes, sausages, and mineral water—items chosen to address the urgent needs and shortages of electricity and water in the northern provinces.
FPT Shop announced that the "FPT Team will bring essential goods to those in need" starting from 1:00 p.m.
After a 2-hour journey from Hanoi to Tuyen Quang, the bus arrived at 4 p.m. at two key locations: FPT Shop and Long Chau Pharmacy, where the team began distributing aid. Hundreds of gifts were prepared, and local residents gathered eagerly, ready to receive the much-needed support.
Mr. Hoang Chi Hieu, Sales Director of Sendo Farm in the North, spearheaded this memorable trip. It all started with a social media call for trucks to deliver essentials to flood-affected areas. Recognizing that Sendo Farm had a fleet of trucks regularly traveling through the province, as well as access to food supplies, Mr. Hieu quickly collaborated with his team and FPT Retail to organize the trip. "At 2 a.m. today, we decided to go to Tuyen Quang. Although time was tight, everyone carefully prepared the necessary supplies. When we arrived and saw that our colleagues were safe, we breathed a sigh of relief. The FPT spirit shines brightest in tough times. It was also a meaningful way to celebrate FPT's anniversary," Mr. Hieu said.

Arriving early to wait for the relief team, Mr. Ta Manh Cuong said, "My family was fortunate and didn't suffer much damage, but my relatives were hit hard, so I'm here to support them in any way I can. While many relief teams have come since the storm, this is the first time I've received such support. Thank you so much to everyone and FPT."
Also, receiving gifts from the FPT team, Ms. Hao shared, "Typhoon Yagi flooded half of my house, and although many relief groups have visited recently, my age and health prevented me from receiving the aid personally. Today, with the waters mostly receding, I could come out. We're thrilled that the FPT team came by, and we deeply appreciate everyone's kindness to the people here."
In the spirit of mutual support, FPT employees, along with FPT Retail and FPT Telecom, delivered 1,000 gifts to the people of Tuyen Quang. This marks the first phase of FPT's relief efforts, with plans to continue providing urgent and timely support to those affected by the storm and flood.
