FPT gave over 1.000 books to students in Quang Nam

On October 14, a voluntary delegation of FPT Corporation gave a bookshelf packed with more than 1000 book titles to students of Tran Hung Dao Primary School in Dien Ban, Quang Nam.

As part of a series of activities with the theme of "Give Wings to Dreams" funded by FPT Staff Foundation for Community, the program aimed to give gifts to children with special needs in remote areas.

FPT Corporation gave over 1000 books to students of Tran Hung Dao Primary School in Quang Nam.

The program held at Tran Hung Dao Primary School attracted more than 300 students and teachers. All joy was manifested in the children’s faces, eyes and smiles.

Besides the bookcase packed with more than 1000 book titles, FPT volunteers also offered them 10 computers as well as many cakes and candy gifts. The total amount spent for these items was more than VND 100 million.

Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh advised gently the juniors on dreams and talked about predecessors who succeeded and returned to their homeland. She expected them to nurture their dreams and become useful citizens to society.

On behalf of the local government, Mr. Le Lai, Chairman of Dien Phong Commune People's Committees, also gave thanks to FPT for the support. He also desired that the children would try to study well for the future when they, along with FPT Corporation, could help the country move forward with technology. 

Earlier, on October June, FPT Corporation had given 50 computers to Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh Dinh for the implementation of the Scheme of Unionist Management Software.
