Strategy to promote Sovereign AI in Vietnam

At Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Day (AI4VN) 2024, AI experts, scientists, and top technology companies from Vietnam and around the world were brought together to explore the latest trends in AI. The 200-million-USD investment deal with NVIDIA, announced in March 2024, underscores FPT's resolve to achieve self-reliance in infrastructure, master data management, and advance AI research and development. The potential value generative AI could add to Vietnam's digital economy by 2030 is estimated at 14 trillion USD*. To unlock these benefits, both the government and businesses must prioritize building high-performance computing infrastructure. This includes investments in chip manufacturing, favorable policies on electricity and energy pricing, and strengthening telecommunications infrastructure."

At the AI Awards 2024, the FPT AI Mentor solution, developed by FPT Smart Cloud, was honored with the title "Outstanding AI Solution." Utilizing Generative AI and the Adaptive Micro-learning method, FPT AI Mentor automates and personalizes the employee training process. This innovative solution enhances training quality and boosts employees' knowledge and skills. Currently, it supports over 20,000 regular learners monthly and features a knowledge base with hundreds of thousands of questions across various fields, including pharmaceuticals, fashion, and electronics retail. The solution has proven effective in improving consulting and sales capabilities by an average of 36%.

At the AI4VN exhibition, FPT showcased a suite of generative AI solutions designed to boost business performance. Attendees were particularly excited about FPT AI Knowledge Explore, which enables users to easily access and interact with data from extensive document collections through a conversational Q&A interface. FPT AI Knowledge Explore is a knowledge management solution consolidating information from multiple sources. It allows employees to quickly find, retrieve, and utilize business data through an intuitive, conversational chat and search interface, simulating the ease of interacting with a colleague. At the exhibition, FPT also showcased CodeVista, a GenAI application designed for programmers and business managers. This solution garnered significant attention for simplifying coding and boosting developer productivity by 48%, allowing more focus on creativity and enhancing the programming experience. Usee, a no-code machine learning data analytics platform, was also presented. Usee supports AI-driven applications such as demand forecasting, risk assessment, inventory optimization, and recommendations.
