In addition to the common curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training, FPT School will have three main emphases: IT, foreign languages and supplementary programmes.

With the application of IT in teaching and management, FPT School will help parents easily keep track of, participate in and share their children’s study in class.

In terms of foreign languages, Ms. Mai Phuong – manager of FPT School project – hopes that after 4 years of learning foreign languages, when leaving school, the pupils can use a foreign language well, enough to study abroad.

At FPT School, apart from learning knowledge, interest raising and methods to achieve best results in studying, forming and fostering self-confidence as well as responsibility to oneself, to the community and society, are also paid a lot of attention to.

Besides, through programmes of perceiving music and arts, FPT School teaches pupils how to perceive the nature and humans.

With quality as the top priority, FPT School will establish its teachers with the key personnel who were excellent students who have graduated with bachelor or higher degrees in Vietnam and in foreign countries.

FPT School ’s teachers will be young people, ranging from 22-40 years old, be ready and can easily adapt to changes.

FPT School also has its own psychological consultants to help pupils deal with difficulties in life and other daily relationships.

Pupil management work will also be paid attention to. The new thing about FPT School is that the head teacher will not teach certain subjects, but will just do the general management work and support pupils in terms of psychology.

Since the potential clients in the future will be middle-class families with high and stable incomes, FPT School’s tuition fees will be 3,000-5,000 USDs/year. “Parents will have many choices among packages that they can pay for”, said Ms. Mai Phuong.

Apart from tuition fees, locations are also what many parents care about. To solve this problem, FPT School will create many different school locations in the city, in the form of mini schools.

As scheduled, each school location will support about 500 pupils and it is expected that after 5 years, FPT School will have about 10 school locations in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho with the total number of 5000 pupils.

In the future, besides the lower-secondary schools, FPT School will continue to set up kindergartens, primary schools and upper-secondary schools.
