FPT helps Nghe An's healthcare sector to change its look

FPT IS officially ran FPT.eHospital - Hospital Management Information System for Vinh City General Hospital. The system will help the hospital to apply IT in the management as well as improving the health care service.

After deploying FPT.eHospital, Vinh City General Hospital was able to attend 1,600-1,800 patients in 2 hours (from 7am to 9am) compared to only 300-500 patients in the years before. Patients do not have to wait in the hospital queue and get frustrated. Accordingly, patients swipe their health insurance cards to get their order number.

Thanks to the LED display system in all consulting-rooms, patients see their own medical information, while the hospital easily manages the staff's activities.

The hospital is planning to issue smart cards for patients. They only need to get the order number once for the whole treatment.

Vinh City General Hospital is one of the four hospitals deploying Phase 1 of FPT.eHospital project of Nghe An Department of Health. FPT.eHospital at Vinh City General Hospital has been deployed in the form of outsourcing IT services under the Prime Minister’s Decision No 80/2014/QD-TTg on IT leasing services in State agencies.
