Gia Lai, 28 March 2026 – At the Gia Lai Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2026, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of the Board of FPT Corporation, presented a keynote on the vision to develop Gia Lai into a regional hub for digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and innovation, in the context of digital transformation and AI reshaping the global economic structure. FPT also announced a partnership with Gia Lai to invest in education and technology infrastructure.

The Gia Lai Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2026 was a key activity of the opening week of the National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026. The event provided a platform for the province to showcase its potential, advantages, investment environment, policies, and priority sectors; facilitating domestic and international investors to explore, research, propose, and implement projects, as well as expand partnerships. Additionally, the event supported local enterprises in promoting products, connecting with partners, developing production linkages, and enhancing competitiveness.

The conference was attended by central government and diplomatic representatives in Vietnam, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, and Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Member of the Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; as well as ambassadors and representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Turkey, Pakistan, Cambodia, and consular officials from other countries in Vietnam.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Truong Gia Binh outlined the vision to transform Gia Lai into an AI hub, emphasizing that AI is fundamentally changing the world and redefining the operation of economies, education, and societies. “The question is no longer whether to use AI, but who will master AI and who will be left behind. This reality requires every individual to proactively leverage AI to multiply productivity,” he said.

On the role of education, Mr. Binh proposed integrating AI into the curriculum across all levels, from primary to university, with the approach of “learning AI and learning through AI,” aiming to build a workforce capable of mastering future technologies. For Gia Lai, he expressed the aspiration for the province to not only train local talent but also become a magnet for domestic and international experts. FPT is committed to supporting the province in developing key technology pillars, positioning Gia Lai as a pioneering center in the AI-driven development wave.

“FPT is committed to partnering with Gia Lai to develop strategic pillars in a manner unique to the province. Gia Lai should not only serve itself but create value for Vietnam and the world,” affirmed Mr. Truong Gia Binh.
