FPT IS deploys ERP for Thien Minh Duc Group

FPT Information System Limited Company (FPT IS) has just officially launched enterprise resource planning system (ERP) for Thien Minh Duc Group - a large private enterprise of Nghe An province. The project will help Thien Minh Duc have a stable management system to achieve the goal of becoming the leading unit of the whole country in the private sector in the import and export of petroleum.

ERP system developed by FPT for Thien Minh Duc is developed on the basis of SAP technology with the protocols of management according to international standards. The system consists of five subsystems that are widely used in corporate offices, general warehouses, branches, representative offices and subsidiaries of the corporation. It is expected that the system will come into operation in 2019 to help Thien Minh Duc standardize its business process, unify the corporate governance model for the company; have centralized data system, seamless and scientific linkage process, timely and accurate data updates; the readiness and reliability of data provide leaders a comprehensive, accurate, timely view, facilitate decision-making processes related to strategy and operate the corporation effectively.Representatives of FPT IS and Thien Minh Duc officially started the project​

Thien Minh Duc is one of the largest private conglomerates group in the Central with 35 affiliated stores, 25 large distributors and 60 retailers branded DKC Petro with container port and warehouse system in 3 regions, Thien Minh Duc is striving to become the leading unit of the country in the private sector in the import and export of petroleum. Prior to the ERP application, Thien Minh Duc Group and its subsidiaries used different scattered softwares. The use of discrete, unsynchronized softwares makes the company encounters many difficulties in management, does not create automated workflow and does not support to optimize decision-making which reduces competitiveness of the business.

In this situation, Thien Minh Duc decided to choose FPT IS to implement ERP and determined that this is a strategic step to achieve their futur development goals. Speaking at the ceremony of launching the project, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of Nghe An People's Committee said that Thien Minh Duc is the first private enterprise in the province that apply ERP - a modern management system. The leader of Nghe An province also believe that this is a model that all enterprises in Nghe An need to learn and apply in management. Mr. Hoa expressed his hope that this project will soon be successfully implemented to bring this image and experience to the business community of Nghe An province.
