FPT IS deploys human resources management project for Vietcombank

On November 18^th, FPT Information System (FPT IS) launched the project "Procurement of new human resource management software (HRM)" for Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank). As planned, the project will be implemented within 15 months.

The project "Procurement of new human resource management software (HRM)" is jointly implemented by Banking – Finance Division (FIS BANK) and ERP Services Division (FIS ERP) of FPT IS, including 6 main modules: HR database management, Salary expense management, Recruitment management, Training management, Employee appraisal management and Talent management.

When the system is put into operation, it will help automate the human resources management and supervision; support the employee performance management and assessment, make prompt and accurate personnel appointment, mobilization, transfer decisions.

The project also provides comprehensive information, multi-dimensional reports to leaders and managers, modernizes the management and development of human resources, helps improve the efficiency of employment and creates a solid foundation for the bank’s operations. In addition, all HR database will be kept confidentially on the system.

Representing Vietcombank to participate in the kick-off ceremony, Mr. Hong Quang - Member of the Board of Directors cum Director of Human Resources Division – shared that with the implementation of HRM system, Vietcombank would become the Vietnam’s pioneering bank in the field of digitalization of human resources management and development, affirming Vietcombank BOD's determination to comprehensively renovate human resources, creating the strength from internal resources to soon achieve the goal of becoming a leading bank in terms of human resources quality and the best working environment in Vietnam.

Mr. Duong Dung Trieu – Chairman of FPT IS Members' Council spoke at the ceremony.

Sharing at the deployment ceremony, Mr. Duong Dung Trieu - Chairman of FPT IS Members’ Council - affirmed that Vietcombank was one of the leading banks in Vietnam nowadays and always considers human resources as the most valuable asset, the core competitive resources. Thus, the application of Information Technology in the human resource management and development has been focused and invested intensively by this bank.
