In the afternoon of September 3rd, FPT IS ERP started deploying Oracle BI Apps and Hyperion Planning for PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation (PVD).

The ceremony attended by PVD CEO Mr. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy General Director PVD Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong, Deputy General Director of FPT Nguyen The Phuong, Deputy General Director FPT IS Nguyen Tuan Hung along with the leaders and the representatives from the project teams of the two sides.

The project of Oracle BI Apps and Hyperion Planning includes such modules as Management Reporting and Business Intelligence, Online budgeting system; Multidimensional analysis and reporting system and KPIs.

It was expected that the project would be implemented by FPT IS ERP within 9 months, put into operation in March 2016, and applied to the Corp and 10 its member companies.

Mr. Pham Tien Dung expected that the Oracle BI Apps and Hyperion Planning would help make financial figures and reports transparent as well as support the management of the leadership. Then it also supported the Corp, its member units and each department in developing and deploying business strategies. At the same time, it helped build a centralized data warehouse with updated information.

Earlier, in the evening of May 25, FIS officially signed an agreement to implement Oracle ERP system for Saigon Newport Corporation – SNP. The project was applied to 12 member companies of the SNP with 5 main modules.
