The launch ceremony for the integration of SAP ECC with the Malaysian Government's e-invoice system for Cenviro (Malaysian LHDN Tax e-invoice Compliance for Cenviro) was held at the customer's headquarters. It marks FPT IS's first "BE GLOBAL" project in Malaysia this year, opening up significant business development opportunities in this promising market.
Participating in the launch ceremony in a hybrid format were Charles Gerald Nathan, CIO of Cenviro, and representatives from FPT IS, including Mr. Lim Chin Ee, expert from the Production Department Management Board, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Director of PB12 Center (FPT IS Enterprise Division), and project team members from both sides.
Representatives of the project teams took commemorative photos.
During the ceremony, both parties discussed the project's scope and implementation stages. The FPT IS project team will collaborate with Cenviro to implement solutions that comply with the Malaysian Tax Authority's (LHDN) electronic invoice regulations within the stipulated timeline. The solution, developed on SAP's original ABAP platform, ensures full compliance with LHDN's requirements and integrates directly with Cenviro's SAP ERP system and LHDN's MyInvoice system.
The project is being implemented at four Cenviro member companies: Kualiti Alam Sdn Bhd, Cenviro Recycling and Recovery Sdn Bhd, Cenviro Services Sdn Bhd, and Cenviro Johor Sdn Bhd. This initiative is part of a broader series of projects focused on tax and electronic invoice implementation in Malaysia in compliance with government regulations. The FPT IS ES HCM project team is expected to complete the project within 2.5 months, with a planned go-live date of August 1 this year.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Director of PB12 Center under FPT IS Enterprise Division, stated that the project's biggest challenge is ensuring its go-live on time to comply with the Malaysian Government's Tax Law regulations for businesses. "FPT IS has crafted a comprehensive project plan, closely tracking progress and making proactive adjustments as needed. Presently, the project has successfully concluded crucial preparatory stages and is transitioning into the system design phase. We are dedicated to providing ample human resources and innovative solutions to ensure the project's successful implementation according to the outlined plan," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc said.
The successful execution of this project will unlock significant opportunities for integrating eInvoice and ERP solutions across various businesses in Malaysia. It will also mark the beginning of a global expansion journey for FPT IS's enterprise division.
