FPT IS ran a data center for Central Power Corporation

In the morning of December 21, Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) celebrated the official inauguration of its new data center. This project was implemented by FPT IS.

"The infrastructure of the data center will ensure the IT system’s stable operation with high security. The IT devices which are selected use advanced technologies, then improving the capacity to store and process information, fully meeting EVNCPC’s requirements for deploying IT apps,” Mr. Pham Sy Hung, Deputy General Director of EVNCPC spoke at the event.

FPT IS won the bid of “Supplying materials, equipment, construction and technology transfer training" to EVNCPC data center project in March 2015. So far, besides IT equipment, infrastructure, construction and materials, FPT IS provided the service of switching to virtualization; gave advice on building the operating procedure; completed construction, adjustment check and handover. In addition, FIS also deployed the technology transfer training.
