FPT IS runs key FPT.eHospital project for Ministry of Health

FPT IS officially ran a full system in the project to “Build and upgrade FPT.eHospital – Hospital Management Information System for the Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics (VNHP)”.

This is one of the three components of the project to implement “Electronic Health Record and Medical Management System for period 2011-2014” for the Ministry of Health by FPT IS at the National Hospital of Pediatrics, Thanh Hoa Hospital of Pediatrics and Ha Tinh General Hospital.

All of these three packages were implemented from July 2014, with 17 modules such as Patient Information, Patient Registration and ID card and barcode facilities.

These modules are integrated into the HL7CORE system of the Ministry of Health, with an expectation of enhancing the exchange of electronic medical records amongst hospitals and data exchange between the Ministry of Health and hospitals within the medical system.

The Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics is one of the top three hospitals in Vietnam in the field of pediatrics, with more than 1,500 beds in the inpatient department and receiving more than 3,700 outpatient visits per day. It is expected that the remaining two hospitals will operate FPT.eHospital in February this year.

In December 2015, FPT IS officially ran phase 1 of the project to implement FPT.eHospital for Cho Ray Hospital. This is the largest FPT.eHospital project in scale and value by FPT IS.
