The company just ran the pilot of intelligent transportation portal in HCMC. When being officially put into operation, Intelligent Transportation Portal by FPT IS will help people with route planning; avoid traffic jams, flooded areas etc.

When being officially put into operation, Intelligent Transportation Portal by FPT IS will help people with route planning.

The solutions will include traffic information integration (to standardize, integrate and provide information between systems and traffic applications); GPS data collection and analysis (to assess the current traffic condition); traffic cameras integration; traffic situation assessment; digital map of traffic and transportation portal.

Once being successfully deployed, the solution will improve transport management, operation and quality in large cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City. On the basis of data available and constantly updated, the system provides an overview of traffic in real time.

Besides the intelligent transportation portal, FPT IS has also implemented several projects related to intelligent transport such as railway e-ticket, bus e-ticket, surveillance camera system etc.
