FPT IS signed an information security contract with Vietlott

On January 2, FPT Information System (FPT IS) officially signed a contract to deploy solutions and monitor information security for IT infrastructure with Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott). This is the first information security service contract between FPT IS and Vietlott.

Accordingly, FPT IS will be responsible for monitoring, managing, analyzing and troubleshooting Vietlott's system 24/7; Performing scanning, analyzing security vulnerabilities; Monthly reporting the results of scanning, security monitoring, security detection and troubleshooting. Using this service, Vietlott will not have to invest in security system, infrastructure and human resources, while ensuring that the system is highly secured by experienced FPT IS employees with international certificates.

Now riding the wave of Industry 4.0., Vietnamese enterprises have applied IT for digital transformation in data management, operation and production processes to improve their competitiveness and profits and bring added value to customers. However, the rapid development of new technologies and the shortage of qualified IT human resources make businesses become attack targets.

This is the first information security service contract between FPT IS and Vietlott.

 “Most businesses consider the data as a valuable asset, but there is no optimal solution for security system investment and network security strategies. Meanwhile, cyberattacks are increasing in number and scale and more and more sophisticated. FPT IS' Information Security Monitoring service is built to solve these problems thoroughly," FPT IS Chairman Duong Dung Trieu spoke at the signing ceremony.

Vietlott's Deputy General Director Pham Quang Huy stated that choosing FPT IS as a security partner of Viettlot will be a prerequisite for cooperation opportunities between the two companies in many fields. Vietlott mapped out its IT development strategy for the period of 2019-2023 and needs cooperation from large and experienced IT companies in Vietnam like FPT IS.
