FPT is the only Vietnamese partner of Amazon Web Services

At AWS Global Partner Summit being organized on 6 to 9 September 2015 in the US, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced their global partners and FPT was the only Vietnamese company being named.

 

Accordingly, FPT was recognized as AWS’ “Learn and Be Curious” Partner together with giants from Japan, India namely Hitachi, Fujitsu, NEC, Accenture, Tata and Cognizant. According to AWS, despite holding top positions, “Learn and Be Curious” Partners had never stopped learning and improving. They always do search, study, and explore new things. AWS highly appreciated FPT's active investment in research and development as well as improvement of professional capacity. FPT was also recognized as one of 40 Managed Services Partners globally. 

 

 

 AWS re:Invent was the largest annual cloud event of AWS. The event this year has attracted 19,000 attendees and about 400 speakers. FPT was Vietnam’s only representative to join this event as well as a silver sponsor for two consecutive years.

 

In the framework of the event, FPT held three mini seminars to showcase their broad expertise on Cloud Migration, Cloud Managed Services and Industrial IoT (Internet of Things) on AWS.

 

Besides, FPT also introduced Citus™ Cloud Suite to interested participants. This toolkit was used in some projects with giants in the U.S. and Japan in order to assist them in accelerating transition and simplifying operation. The toolkit helped many customers among Fortune 500 increase productivity by 70% and minimize deployment effort by up to 60%. 

 

On the sidelines of the conference, senior leaders of AWS recognized that in the past year, FPT made remarkable improvements of professional experience and capacity to deploy AWS platforms. Therefore, AWS would comprehensively support FPT as one of the first partners for AWS’s latest cloud migration services to be launched in 2016. Also, AWS would also provide special support for FPT in some key markets such as Japan, USA.

 

On October 6, in Japan, FPT attended Partner FEST 2015 - Microsoft Japan's largest event. The event aimed at introducing this firm’s services and solutions to attendees. The event attracted about 600 Microsoft partners.

 

Partner FEST2015 was Microsoft Japan’s largest annual event of the year. Participating in this event, FPT wanted to reaffirm the company’s position in the Japanese market as well as capacity as No.1 Cloud Migration partner.  

 

Currently, FPT has successfully implemented a number of projects on providing cloud-based services/solutions to help customers improve their manufacturing business activities. They have developed apps for Smart TV; transited apps to Microsoft Sharepoint Online, Amazon Web Services and migrated apps to SaaS platform for some leading companies in Japan including Toshiba, Calsonic Kansei, Gulliver. In America, FPT has also provided the cloud-based services for several Fortune 500 customers.
