On March 4 FPT IS beat several Indian contractors in scoring the winning bid. The latest contract is expected secure FPT IS' presence in the South Asian country and mark a new step for the company in providing software and solutions for the energy, water, and gas fields in other countries.

The gas transmission pipeline system of GTCL
This project will help Bangladesh ensure national security and access to safe energy and will enhance efficiency in the management and maintenance of thousands of natural gas pipeline systems across the country.
Under the plan, the project will be implemented within 18 months, starting in April 2016 for all GTCL’s member companies throughout Bangladesh.
In 2015, FPT signed a USD33.6-million project to supply an integrated value-added tax administration system, or IVAS, to the tax department. Thus, after more than 2 years in this market, FPT IS has won three contracts with a total value of up to USD 50 million, equivalent to VND 1,100 billion. This confirms the growing position and capacity in Vietnam of FPT IS in particular and other Vietnamese IT firms in general in South Asia.
