FPT IS – Siemens partner to implement Digital Twin in Vietnam

FPT IS and Siemens just co-organized the seminar “Digital Transformation of the Food and Beverage Industry (F&B)”. At the event, Digital Twins - a new technology model was introduced to support digital transformation for businesses. FPT IS is in charge of implementing Digital Twin in Vietnam.

Digital Twin uses the latest technology such as Big Data to handle more information; AI to support, even take decisions; Cloud computing technologies to increase the use of resources that help to promote the efficiency of human and machine interactions… with the view to bringing new experiences, and optimizing production and operation processes.

With Digital Twin, all the data gets involved in the production system, from product design ideas to production engineering processes and operating capabilities, as well as machine performance, are fed into the system.

Similar to other industries, businesses in the food and beverage industry take a long time to produce samples. With Digital Twins, the process of producing samples is quickly mapped to the digital plant, from conceptual steps, product realization (automation or semi-automatic), to effect on the human analysis.

With this digital factory, the company has the ability to accurately and quickly describe the characteristics of the product throughout the lifecycle, thereby, access the market quickly by choosing the best and most suitable product for the market.
