FPT Japan appoints new Deputy Director

FPT Japan recently appointed Mr. Nakai Takumi as Deputy Director and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) in charge of business and marketing activities of FPT Software’s Japanese market in a three-year period. This decision took effects starting July 1st, 2016.

FPT Japan recently appointed Mr. Nakai Takumi as Deputy Director and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) in charge of business and marketing activities of FPT Software’s Japanese market in a three-year period. This decision took effects starting July 1st, 2016.

Accordingly, in the role of CSMO, Mr. Nakai Takumi will be responsible for three main duties including developing big clients in Japanese market; enhancing marketing activities in Japanese market and optimizing business opportunities by applying new operating procedures.

Mr. Nakai Takumi has more than 20 years of experience working in various managerial positions at several giants in Japan, including Sumitomo, HP Japan, and Konica Minolta. He also has accumulated experience after many years working in Europe. During 4 years working for Konica Minolta, Mr. Takumi has changed this company from a hardware company into a service provider specializing in Digital Marketing.

For years, Japan has always been FPT’s largest foreign market. After the first 05 months, the Japanese market saw the highest revenue growth an increase of 58% over the same period in 2015, reaching VND 1,021 billion. It is expected that in 2017, FPT will earn reach USD200 million in revenue and offer 8,800 career opportunities for people in Japan and Vietnam.

FPT Japan was established on November 13th, 2005 to operate in the field of software services (IT Outsourcing) for Japanese companies. After nearly 11 years of development, FPT Japan is now Vietnam’s largest IT firm in Japan. Japan has also become an extremely important market in the software export sector of FPT Software with 50% contribution to the total revenue from global markets.

The number of employees working for the projects with Japanese partners was 4,500 people by the end of 2015. In the period 2005-2015, the revenue from the Japanese market increased by 32% on average per year.

FPT Japan currently has established partner relationships with nearly 200 leading enterprises from Japan, such as Nissen, Toshiba, Hitachi, Fujitsu, IT Holdings, Agrex etc.
