Hanoi, January 13, 2025 – At Dien Hong Hall in the National Assembly Building, the Central Party Secretariat convened the National Conference on Breakthroughs in Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation. The conference was attended by General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with numerous senior leaders and former leaders of the Party and the State.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, with a central live broadcast from Dien Hong Hall at the National Assembly House, connecting online to 15,345 locations nationwide and attended by 978,532 delegates. As part of the event, FPT Corporation showcased several key systems supporting national digital transformation at the Innovation in Data Science Exhibition, highlighting advanced technological solutions to accelerate the country's digital transformation efforts.

The Politburo’s Resolution 57-NQ/TW, issued on December 22, 2024, underscores that science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation are critical drivers of national development. The resolution positions these factors as both a prerequisite and a strategic opportunity for Vietnam to achieve sustainable growth and global competitiveness in the new era of national advancement.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation, emphasized that Resolution 57 is a pivotal milestone marking the nation's new era of development. As a pioneering technology enterprise, FPT is committed to actively contributing to the most critical areas for Vietnam’s advancement through the following eight strategic priorities:

1. Data Utilization: Effectively leveraging government data to serve citizens and businesses, with a focus on healthcare, education, labor, taxation, banking, and security.
2. Data Sharing: Contributing and integrating FPT’s data into the National Data Center.
3. Digital Talent Development: Expanding education and workforce training to build a strong digital talent pool across all levels, including General education, Vocational training, University and postgraduate programs; Training 10,000 semiconductor engineers.
4. Technology Diplomacy: Supporting the Vietnamese Government in promoting technology diplomacy, including: Attracting foreign investment in the semiconductor sector; Expanding global partnerships in digital transformation and software exports; Strengthening Vietnam’s position as a global technology hub.

"Over the past few decades, Vietnam has reached out to the world through software exports. But moving forward, the world will need Vietnam. We have the potential to become a global leader in AI and semiconductors—the core technologies that every nation depends on. This is the future of Vietnam," affirmed Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation.

The first highlight is the Tap & Go train ticket system, which utilizes citizen identification cards (ID cards). This display model replicates the FPT system implemented for the Ben Thanh Metro line in Ho Chi Minh City. For the first time, passengers can register their ID cards on the application (app) and scan them directly at ticket checkpoints, eliminating the need to wait in line or purchase physical tickets. This innovation is powered by the D06 project, which integrates some of the world's most advanced contactless and cashless payment technologies. Individuals over 60, war veterans, and other beneficiaries can access the system seamlessly, as their eligibility data is pre-registered.

Additionally, the system provides real-time reporting capabilities for government and state agencies. When passengers scan their ID cards, QR code on the app, or bank card at a checkpoint, the system instantly collects key transport metrics such as metro ridership, passenger demographics, and ticket types. This data-driven approach enhances transparency in public transportation management, supports informed decision-making, and enables continuous system optimization.

The second highlight is FPT Corporation's introduction of its Big Data system, which leverages order history data from FPT Long Chau combined with AI-powered smart analytics. This system is designed to support public health management under the initiative: “The State Cares, the People Stay Healthy!”

Starting January 1, 2025, Vietnamese citizens can purchase medicine online via VNeID. Conversely, users can also log in to the Long Chau application (app) using VNeID for seamless access. By integrating and analyzing data on medication purchases, FPT enables government agencies to monitor and retrieve information on the top three most common diseases and related pharmaceuticals in each locality and province. This insight allows authorities to develop proactive health strategies, optimize medical resource allocation, and respond effectively to emergencies, including natural disasters or other crises. Additionally, with advanced Big Data analysis, the system can detect and issue early warnings about potential disease outbreaks in specific areas, especially if there is a sudden spike in cases for certain illnesses.

Over the past 37 years, FPT has actively collaborated with the Government, provincial leaders, organizations, and businesses to drive the development of Digital Government, Digital Economy, and Digital Society, with the overarching goal of enhancing prosperity and well-being for all stakeholders. FPT continuously strives to contribute to the country's sustainable development.

FPT invests in research and development to accelerate national digital transformation, expanding its "Made by FPT" ecosystem, which comprises over 200 innovative products, services, and solutions. These offerings empower organizations of all sizes and industries to expedite digital transformation, enhance productivity, and optimize costs. Beyond technology solutions, FPT actively drives digital transformation awareness, organizing numerous initiatives and training programs that have influenced tens of thousands of leaders, key decision-makers, and young professionals across both the public and private sectors. These efforts aim to inspire a technology-driven national transformation. More than 30 provinces, cities, ministries, and sectors have partnered with FPT to advance their digital agendas. Looking ahead, FPT is committed to actively implementing Resolution No. 57/NQ-TW.
