Addressing the opening ceremony, Miroslav Tuleja recalled the moments he witnessed the bravery and sacrifice of Vietnamese people during the war.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia Ho Dac Minh Nguyet stated that the exhibition would help visitors understand more about the philosophy of life of Vietnamese people - Look to the future but never forget to remember the past. The heroic history of the nation along with the sacrifices of the previous generations became the driving force for the younger generation to overcome difficulties, face challenges and build an increasingly prosperous country.

“To live and remember” ran until October 21. It was part of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day, and the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Slovakia.

Earlier, on August 19, Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia Ho Dac Minh Nguyet and FPT Slovakia Director Olaf Wilhelm Baumann signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand cooperation in the period of 2015 to 2020.

The agreement marked the first cooperation deal between the Embassy of Vietnam in Slovakia with an enterprise, as well as the first one between the FPT with an overseas Vietnamese representative agency.
