FPT Affirms Its Position at Vietnam International Digital Week 2025

Ninh Binh, October 27–29, 2025 - At the Vietnam International Digital Week 2025, FPT demonstrated its comprehensive AI solutions ecosystem - the core foundation of the national scientific and technological revolution and innovation strategy. During the event, FPT representatives also delivered a key presentation at the regional conference on AI-Driven Digital Transformation, reaffirming Vietnam’s role and vision in the global AI economy.

Under the theme “AI Governance,” Vietnam International Digital Week 2025 brought together more than 30 countries, international organizations, and leading global technology corporations to promote collaboration, share experiences, and shape sustainable and responsible AI development policies.

As a pioneer in digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence (AI), FPT introduced two flagship products at the event: FPT AI Factory - a high-performance computing infrastructure serving large-scale AI model development, and FPT AI Agents - a platform recently honored with the “Best AI Solution of the Year” award at the AI Awards 2025. These “Make in Vietnam” solutions demonstrate FPT’s mastery of core technologies, contributing to building Vietnam’s national AI platform and digital sovereignty.

AI - The New Engine of the Global Economy

According to forecasts by PwC and IDC, artificial intelligence is expected to contribute up to USD 15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030 - equivalent to 15% of global GDP. Major economies such as the U.S., China, South Korea, and Singapore are investing heavily in AI, viewing it as the foundation of a new economic power. Alongside this, an “AI race” is taking place worldwide: the countries that possess computing infrastructure, training data, and large language models will hold the key to the digital future and ensure long-term competitiveness.

Vietnam is entering an “AI acceleration” phase, with all the right conditions to emerge as a regional innovation hub. The country currently boasts over 500,000 tech professionals, an AI adoption rate of 42%, and 65% of small and medium-sized enterprises using AI tools. These factors form a vital foundation for a dynamic AI ecosystem, guided by the National Strategy on Research, Development, and Application of Artificial Intelligence by 2030 issued by the Government.

According to Mr. Ngo Xuan Bach, Director of the AI Center, FPT Smart Cloud, Vietnam needs to intensify investments in computing infrastructure, research capacity, and large-scale training data to make a breakthrough. “This is not only about empowering businesses but also about securing national data sovereignty and technological security - the cornerstone of an independent digital nation,” he emphasized.

Mastering Technology to Build Vietnam’s Digital Sovereignty

At the event, FPT showcased its comprehensive FPT.AI ecosystem, with a highlight on FPT AI Agents - a platform that builds “AI employees” capable of automating a wide range of business operations, from customer care and consulting to training assistance. The solution helps enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and save operating costs. FPT currently operates 5,120 AI Agents serving over 200 enterprise customers, automating more than 200 million interactions per month, boosting productivity by 67%, and cutting operating costs by 40%. With an investment of USD 200 million in partnership with NVIDIA, FPT has built an AI Factory equipped with thousands of H100 GPUs, providing GPU Cloud services with processing power reaching up to 400 teraflops - among the strongest in Southeast Asia.

Numerous enterprises express interest in FPT’s solution ecosystem.

This ecosystem enables businesses and organizations to develop, train, and operate their own AI models on a Cloud infrastructure that meets international standards for safety and security. It represents a strategic step that helps Vietnam master core technologies, reduce dependency on foreign platforms, and contribute to building a safe and sustainable national digital foundation.

At the Regional Conference on AI-Driven Digital Transformation, Mr. Ngo Xuan Bach delivered a presentation titled “Vietnam’s AI Momentum: Building Competitiveness in the Global AI Economy.” He stated: “A nation’s competitiveness no longer lies in resources or cheap labor, but in its ability to master and create its own artificial intelligence.” In an era where the world is moving toward responsible, transparent, and human-centered AI, Vietnam must assert its position through its own innovation capabilities.
