FPT launches Season 3 of its young tech talent incubation program

Returning with a refreshed identity after two successful seasons, FPT’s talent internship program has officially launched its third season under the name FPT FutureTech Talents. With a total scholarship value of up to VND 2 billion, the program offers opportunities to learn and grow within Vietnam’s leading technology enterprise across key domains including AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Quantum.

After two seasons attracting nearly 1,000 high-quality applications, undergoing three rigorous selection rounds, and nurturing a new generation of young tech talents, the program has demonstrated strong appeal among Gen Z. Previously known as FPT Smart Cloud Young Talent, the 2026 edition—now rebranded as FPT FutureTech Talents—marks a collaboration between FPT Smart Cloud and the Quantum AI & Cyber Security Institute under FPT Corporation.

This year, the program continues its mission to identify and empower young individuals passionate about technology, eager to master cutting-edge innovations, focusing on four strategic areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Quantum Computing.

Eligible applicants are third- to fifth-year university students in relevant technology majors. Applications are open from March 26 to April 10.

FPT FutureTech Talents provides participants with hands-on learning and real-world working experience through a well-structured program with clear objectives and attractive benefits. Scholarships ranging from VND 40 million to VND 90 million will be awarded based on overall performance after candidates pass three selection rounds: application screening, capability assessment, and in-depth interviews with a panel of experts.

With an expanded scale in 2026, the program aims to reach over 600 potential candidates and select approximately 40–60 outstanding interns. During the six-month program, interns will: participate directly in large-scale real-world technology projects at FPT; collaborate with experts, engineers, and researchers; and engage in research activities targeting international conferences and reputable scientific journals.

Interns will receive intensive training and mentorship from FPT experts, including professors, PhDs, university lecturers, technology specialists, and renowned speakers at major tech events.

Through this experience, participants will not only enhance their technical expertise but also develop systems thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to create practical value—ultimately shaping a generation of engineers and researchers capable of competing at regional and global levels.

Beyond structured training, the program fosters a spirit of innovation and bold thinking by empowering young talents to propose new ideas directly to leadership and bring promising initiatives to life. As a result, participants are equipped not only with technical excellence but also with mindset, resilience, and a clear career direction in the technology sector.
