FPT accompanies Ca Mau Province in digital transformation and high-quality human resource development

Ca Mau, September 17, 2025 - FPT Corporation and the People’s Committee of Ca Mau Province signed a comprehensive digital transformation cooperation agreement to mobilize resources for building digital platforms, enhancing the effectiveness of government management and administration, promoting digital economy and digital society development, and making Ca Mau one of Vietnam’s leading localities in digital transformation.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan – Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – CEO of FPT Corporation, representing the two sides in signing the comprehensive cooperation for the 2025–2030 period.

The event was attended by representatives from the Provincial People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan – Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Phan Hoang Vu – Provincial Party Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han – Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, along with leaders of provincial departments and agencies. Representing FPT Corporation were Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – CEO of FPT, and leaders from the corporation and its member units.

Under the cooperation agreement, the two sides will promote comprehensive digital transformation, mobilize resources, and support Ca Mau in developing digital platforms, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of government management and administration, while expanding digital transformation to citizens and enterprises. The goal is to make Ca Mau one of the country’s leading localities in digital transformation based on three pillars: Digital Government – Digital Economy – Digital Society.

FPT will transfer advanced technologies, especially in telecommunications and information technology, as well as train high-quality human resources to help achieve the goals set out in central government resolutions and plans, while promoting sustainable socio-economic development in Ca Mau Province.

Representing FPT Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa shared that, in the field of education, FPT aims to invest in establishing educational institutions — from primary schools to vocational education centers — in Ca Mau Province by 2030, focusing on high-quality training.

This will serve as a foundation to foster and enhance the province’s high-quality workforce and increase its attractiveness to investors. FPT will establish a high-quality integrated education model and implement a vocational training system based on the province’s economic development strategy.

For digital transformation, FPT will coordinate to review and assess the province’s digital infrastructure to propose solutions for upgrading and completing data infrastructure, as well as providing advanced digital platforms that ensure information security and effectively support the development of the digital economy and digital society.

FPT is currently responsible for digital transformation for several ministries and governmental bodies. The corporation will apply the experience gained to its cooperation with Ca Mau. To improve the province’s workforce capabilities, FPT will implement intensive training programs for officials and managers at all levels, including “digital literacy” courses utilizing artificial intelligence to improve work efficiency.

In addition, FPT will strengthen technological enablement for local enterprises, helping them become more capable and confident in their digital transformation journey.

“Building high-quality human resources, promoting technology, and accelerating education and training are the core elements of FPT’s investments. The ultimate goal is to create a better life for the people,” emphasized the FPT CEO.

At the same time, FPT will provide consulting and implement digital transformation solutions in key areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture, environment, and tourism. In particular, in the healthcare sector, FPT will support the standardization of medical data, deploy electronic medical records and health profiles, and apply big data and artificial intelligence technologies to assist medical professionals, contributing to the shift from public administration to public governance.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – concluded that the signing of the agreement marks the first step toward implementation. Provincial departments and agencies will work with FPT to develop specific plans. With its extensive investment experience, the corporation will provide support to facilitate administrative processes. The collaboration between the two sides aims toward a shared goal — improving public services and ensuring better development conditions for the people.

At the same time, Ca Mau will strengthen the promotion of FPT’s brand among its citizens and prioritize the corporation’s participation in several provincial programs. In the near future, the province will prepare for its Party Congress with the determination to organize a “paperless congress.” Therefore, provincial leaders hope that FPT will collaborate and leverage its technological strengths to ensure the success of the event.

The working session between Ca Mau provincial leaders and FPT Corporation reaffirmed a long-term, comprehensive strategic vision and sustainable cooperation between the local government and the country’s leading technology enterprise. Both sides agreed to continue working closely together, enhancing the model of public–private partnership to realize the Central Government’s “Four Resolutions”: Resolution No. 57 on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; Resolution No. 59 on foreign affairs; Resolution No. 66 on institutional and legal system improvement; and Resolution No. 68 on developing the private sector as an important driver of the economy.
