FPT Appoints Two Deputy CEOs to Lead Strategic International Markets

FPT Corporation has announced the rotation and appointment of two senior executives at the Deputy CEO level: Mr. Nguyễn Khải Hoàn – Deputy CEO of FPT Software now overseeing the Americas for FPT Corporation, and Mr. Đặng Trần Phương – Deputy CEO of FPT Software now leading Europe and the Middle East.

 

In their new mandates, both Deputy CEOs will be responsible for expanding strategic market presence, strengthening alliances with global technology partners, and securing and delivering super large global deals.

 

These appointments are part of FPT’s senior executive rotation program and were approved by the Group’s leadership. The decisions take effect on January 1, 2026.

At the appointment ceremony, FPT Chairman Trương Gia Bình emphasized the Group’s Top-Tier global ambition: “We are advancing toward the technological frontier of the world. FPT is partnering with hyperscale data centers and major global tech companies to reshape the future through innovation. I hope you remain bold, united, and resilient to conquer new heights—for yourselves, for FPT, and for Vietnam.”

 

CEO FPT Nguyễn Văn Khoa extended congratulations and expressed confidence that both Deputy CEOs will deliver strong breakthroughs in their new leadership roles.

 

FPT Deputy CEO Phạm Minh Tuấn shared that FPT Software is entering a new development chapter aimed at becoming a world-class technology company. A key requirement is securing large and super-large global contracts with top-tier clients. “FPT Software needs dedicated senior executives directly accountable for this mission. Our target is to achieve the company’s first Giga Deal—a billion-dollar contract—from major global pursuits before 2028,” Mr. Tuấn stated.

Before presenting the appointment decisions, Ms. Chu Thanh Hà, Chairwoman of FPT Software, FPT Corporation, expressed deep appreciation for the contributions of both Deputy CEOs. She affirmed her belief that they will continue to shine in their new regional leadership roles and help FPT Software secure future Giga Deals.

 

The Europe & Middle East region is poised for major expansion, fueled by strategic investments and consistent double-digit growth. The region features significant cultural and operational differences from the Americas, necessitating a dedicated Deputy CEO.

 

International executive rotation, she noted, equips senior leaders with diverse market experience, strengthens global competitiveness, and builds multi-cultural leadership capability—critical for leading FPT’s global business programs. It also demonstrates the Group’s highest commitment to growth in strategic markets.

During his rotation to the United States in 2018, he accelerated the “Whale Hunting & Farming” strategy, reshaped the company’s business landscape, and expanded delivery centers across the Americas. Under his leadership:

• The U.S. became FPT Software’s second-largest market

• Achieved 25% average annual growth for eight consecutive years

• Drove historic milestones under the C99 Program, including:

• FPT’s first USD 100 million/year customer

• A record-breaking USD 225 million contract (2024)
