FPT Myanmar signed a MOU with Maha Yetakhon

 

On September 13, FPT Myanmar held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement with Yetakhon Mahar at Chatrium hotel, Yangon.

 

Under this agreement, FPT Myanmar and Yetakhon Mahar will jointly study, develop and implement IT solutions for Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system in Yangon and Mandalay as well as bring Smart Transport apps into this country.

 


The signing ceremony was participation of many delegates from the government of Myanmar
 

The event was participated by Ambassador of Vietnam to Myanmar, Minister of Transport U Aung Khin Yangon; Minister of Electricity and Technology Nyan Tun OO and many government delegates and leaders of FPT Software and FPT IS. 

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of FPT Myanmar Duong Dung Trieu said: "We believe that the cooperation between FPT Myanmar and Mahar Yetakhon will help the government of Myanmar, Yangon and Mandalay control transport system better, improving the quality of life for people".

 

According to Mr. Trieu, the business motto of FPT in Myanmar was respect, collaboration and innovation. Therefore, the signing of the MOU with Mahar Yetakhon was one of the opportunities for FPT to work with local companies to build information infrastructure and state administration in Myanmar.

 

After over 2 years, FPT has had customers including giants in Myanmar. FPT deployed ERP for United Paints Group Corporation (UPS) while FPT Software ran DMS for Myanmar Mayson Industries.
