FPT Online Content to introduce Open Beta version of online game Special Force

Special Force currently has some 220 thousand registered players, with the highest number of people playing at the same time up to 9 thousand players. This growth is above FPT Online Services expectations.

Special Force – takes after a once very famous shooting game in Vietnam – Counter Strike. Special Force have built on many of the pros of Counterstrike while upgrading others.

To prepare for Special Force introduction in Vietnam, FPT Online Content has allocated 100 servers, together with high speed network and bandwidth.

Special Force differs in that characters fight during game-play. It has 6 different character types for players to choose from, with a new female character from SRG, the first ever to be introduced in Vietnam shooting games. Open Beta offers 22 different weapon types, as compared to Open Beta.

Special Force has 8 maps, with different scenarios and missions. Open Beta version will have 2 additional maps Factory and Venezia while 2 other maps: Dock and Missile has been modified to suit players’ demand.

Players can choose to different play modes in Special Force such as: practice, single match, team match, mission. Scoring keeps track of the number of completed missions and also frags. Scores can get very high if players can complete missions and do not escape during game play.
