FPT partners with VGCL to deploy welfare program

On September 24, 2016, in the framework of the meeting between the President and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, FPT Corporation and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor signed the cooperation agreement on welfare program for unionists and workers in Vietnam.

 Accordingly, FPT Retail (a member company FPT) will offer workers technology products (laptop, tablet, cell phones, copyrighted software and other products) at zero interest up to 6-month installments. Besides, employees will see a discount of 5% when paying in full to all products at FPT Shop.

Mr. Duong Dung Trieu, Deputy General Director of FPT signed the cooperation agreement with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In addition, FPT will provide 100 scholarships worth 50% of tuition per year (2017 to 2020) for children of the union members joining programs of FPT University. Criteria for the scholarship will be discussed and agreed later.

Speaking at the meeting, State President Tran Dai Quang welcomed VGCL’s collaboration with enterprises and highly appreciated their attention to the working class and trade unionists.
