FPT Launches FPT MongoDB Enterprise Service to Accelerate AI Application Development on Modern Data Infrastructure

FPT has launched the FPT MongoDB Enterprise database service, delivered on domestic cloud infrastructure, to support enterprises in building and operating modern applications, particularly AI-driven applications.

The service is introduced amid rapidly growing demand for data architecture modernization, as organizations increasingly deploy big data analytics and AI applications in business operations. It is also the first product launched by FPT after becoming a certified Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) partner of MongoDB in Vietnam.

According to an IDC survey across the Asia-Pacific region, 43% of organizations stated that their current data infrastructure is a major barrier to developing new applications. Meanwhile, traditional data systems originally designed for simple transactional workloads are struggling to process unstructured data and integrate AI into operational workflows.

The FPT MongoDB Enterprise managed database service is designed to help enterprises accelerate the modernization of their data platforms for AI application development. Operational tasks such as installation, backup, monitoring, and upgrades are fully automated and managed by FPT Cloud, enabling businesses to focus on product development and core operations.

FPT MongoDB Enterprise is built to support flexible scalability, capable of handling large query volumes and expanding resources without service disruption. The platform also integrates enterprise-grade security standards, including data encryption, access control, monitoring, and activity logging, making it suitable for highly regulated sectors such as finance, banking, and insurance.

A notable advantage is that the entire infrastructure is hosted in Vietnam, enabling enterprises to comply with local data residency requirements while enhancing operational control and governance.
