FPT ranked 36th among Top 1000 corporate taxpayers

 The list, named the Top 1,000 Enterprises of Tax Contribution 2015 (V1000), was released on October 14. FPT ranked No. 36 based on consolidated financial statements. Besides, some the firm’s member units including FPT Distribution Co.,Ltd (FD under FPT Trading, FPT Telecom, FPT Securities (FPTS), FPT Telecom International (FTI) under FPT Telecom and FPT Trading were also named among Top V1000.

The list, named the Top 1,000 Enterprises of Tax Contribution 2015 (V1000), was released on October 14. FPT ranked No. 36 based on consolidated financial statements. Besides, some the firm’s member units including FPT Distribution Co.,Ltd (FD under FPT Trading, FPT Telecom, FPT Securities (FPTS), FPT Telecom International (FTI) under FPT Telecom and FPT Trading were also named among Top V1000.

 

In 2014, FPT Corp reached VND 35, 114 billion in revenue, an increase of 23% year-over-year (yoy), completing 110% of the year plan. FPT's Profit after tax was VND 2,075 billion, up 0.5% yoy.

Top V1000 was sorted by tax code and consolidated financial statement. As for consolidated financial statement, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group topped the list while Viettel ranked first as for the tax code.

 

As for tax code, FPT had five member units including FPT Distribution Co.,Ltd (FD C) under FPT Trading (353rd), FPT Telecom (358th), FPT Securities (392nd), FPT Telecom International (FTI) under FPT Telecom (491st)and FPT Trading (790th)

 

As for consolidated financial statements, besides FPT Corp (36th), the firm also had three units including FDC (344th), FPTS (380th), and FTI (471st).

 

Vietnam Report revealed that the overall tax contribution of Top V1000 to the state budget reached VND 82,344 billion, an increase of 2.34% compared to VND 80,460 billion in 2013, accounting for 10% of the 2014 budget according to data released by the General Statistics Office (GSO) of Vietnam.

 

In particular, Top 100 corporate taxpayers contributed more than VND 50,000 billion, accounting for over 60% of V1000’s business income tax.
