FPT Retail choose service quality as difference
2013 really is the flowering time of FPT’s retail system, marking many important developmental milestones, especially the number of newly-opened stores and customer care services.

In 2012, FPT Retail possessed only 50 retail stores in 23 provinces and cities nationwide while it had 105 shops in 50 provinces by the end of 2013. This is considered a landmark in the way to be named among top 3 ICT retail chains in Vietnam.
According to CEO of FPT Retail Nguyen Bach Diep, in 2013 her company completed two important tasks including operation area expansion and business deployment in depth.
According to the statistics, the products in the premium segment distributed by FPT Retail are favored by a large number of customers. Total revenue of the company in 2013 was estimated at VND2,900 billion.
According to the representative from FPT Retail, the newly-opened stores had high sales and strictly followed plans.
In addition, FPT Retail is improving customer care services and choosing service quality as competitive advantage .
However, according to the CEO of FPT Retail, besides advantages the unit also encountered a number of disadvantages. That the application of retail management software has not been stable yet makes it difficult for management on a large scale. The fast development also creates large workloads, resulting in many employees being overloaded. “Despite this, in 2014, the company will continue to stick to plans to expand operation area and put into operation 50 new shops, increasing to 150 stores nationwide and employing approximately 3,500 people", CEO of FPT Retail shared.
