FPT’s net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company up 20.9% YoY

In Q1 2025, FPT recorded VND 16,058 billion in revenue and VND 3,025 billion in profit before tax (PBT), representing year-on-year increases of 13.9% and 19.4%, respectively. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached VND 2,174 billion, up 20.9% YoY, with EPS (Earnings Per Share) at VND 1,478, rising 20.1% compared to the same period last year.

FPT maintain growth in Q1 2025

Slightly affected by global economic environment, FPT still maintains revenue and profit growth of two digits within Q1 2025.

Though slightly below initial expectations due to some impact from the global economic environment, FPT’s revenue growth remained positive. The company stays focused on sustainable growth and continues to adapt proactively to market developments.

First three months of 2025, FPT secured nine new international contracts valued at over USD 10 million each

The Technology sector (including Domestic and Global IT Services) continued to play a pivotal role, contributing 61% of the Group’s revenue and 47% of its profit before tax, equivalent to VND 9,769 billion and VND 1,416 billion, with growth rates of 15.3% and 22.5% year-over-year, respectively.

Reaffirming our leadership in the global market, revenue from Global IT Services grew by 17.0% to VND 8,186 billion, with PBT increasing 24.8% to VND 1,391 billion. All key markets recorded positive growth, notably Japan, which maintained a strong growth rate of 30.4%. New bookings for Global IT Services reached VND 11,505 billion in Q1 2025, up 17.2% YoY. Reinforcing its global presence, FPT won 9 large-scale projects, each exceeding USD 10 million, marking a 125% increase over the same period last year.

Digital transformation services for international markets generated VND 3,579 billion in revenue in Q1 2025, up 21.1% YoY, driven by demand for next-gen technologies such as Cloud and AI/Data Analytics.

Thanks to intensified collaboration with government bodies and increased adoption of Cloud and AI solutions among local enterprises, Domestic IT Services recorded revenue of VND 1,583 billion (+7.5% YoY). FPT’s “Made-by-FPT” product ecosystem continued strong growth, generating VND 526 billion in revenue (+18.3%), with widespread applicability across both enterprise and public sector clients.

Telecom and Education sector maintain upward trajectory

Telecom Services posted revenue of VND 4,465 billion, growing 14.9% YoY, and PBT of VND 943 billion, up 17.2%.

The Education segment achieved revenue of VND 1,834 billion, marking a 3.2% YoY increase.

 

Business highlights in Q1/2025

FPT signed a USD 67 million agreement with a partner in Indonesia

On April 19, 2025, FPT signed a USD 67 million framework agreement with KMP Aryadhana. Spanning five years, the contract focuses on consulting, developing, and operating digital systems, with a particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and cloud computing platforms. This is FPT’s largest contract to date in the Indonesian market, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s global “Make AI Practical” strategy and further strengthening its footprint in Southeast Asia—one of its key growth markets in the next phase.

FPT inaugurated a High-Tech and Semiconductor R&D Center in Da Nang.

On March 27, 2025, FPT Corporation officially inaugurated its High-Tech and Semiconductor R&D Center at Da Nang’s Software Park No. 2. This marks a significant step in FPT’s strong commitment to partnering with the city in advancing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. The initiative contributes to realizing the vision of building a "Silicon Bay"—a hub for nurturing "Make in Vietnam" technology products—while supporting the implementation of key national resolutions such as Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Resolution 136/2024/QH15.

FPT tops out educational complex in Hue

On March 26, 2025, marking the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Thua Thien Hue, FPT held the topping-out ceremony for THE educational complex designed to accommodate 20,000 learners. Located in the An Van Duong New Urban Area, Thuy Thanh Commune, Huong Thuy Town, the project spans a total area of 8.68 hectares. It includes a system of integrated general education schools (Primary, Secondary, and High School) and vocational education institutions (FPT College, FPT PolySchool), with training programs focused on cutting-edge technology fields such as STEM, AI, and Robotics.

FPT launches international-standard training for automotive industry

On February 25, 2025, FPT officially launched the Cranes FPT training system in collaboration with Cranes Varsity, a leading technology training organization in India. This is the first short-term training program in Vietnam focused on the development of smart automotive software according to international standards, with a focus on embedded systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and advanced automotive technologies. The program lasts for 2 years (4 semesters), with AI content comprising nearly 30%, and provides knowledge ranging from basic to advanced programming, simulation, and software testing. Graduates will receive the Advanced Diploma in Automotive Software Development (ADAS) certificate issued by Cranes Varsity, which is internationally recognized and meets the hiring needs of the global automotive industry.
