On the evening of November 10, FPT Shop held the iPhone 7 launch event from 21:00 till midnight and delivered products to customers who had pre-ordered iPhone 7/7 Plus at 0:00 on November 11. Accordingly, they became the first people in Vietnam to own official iPhone 7.

As of November 10, FPT Shop received 15,000 iPhone 7/7 Plus preorders. 12,000 of them paid a deposit.

The exciting activity was the auction game. Each guest was given the token money to buy three Apple devices. The highest bidders could be able to buy Macbook and two iPad Mini. However, they decided to resell the products in order to raise money to support flood victims in the central provinces.

FPT Shop officially started selling iPhone 7/Plus 7 from November 11 from a starting price of VND 18.79 million and VND 22.29 million respectively. The product comes in silver, gold, rose gold and the new black finish in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB models and the new jet black finish is offered exclusively on the 128GB and 256GB models.

Those who pre-ordered them by November 11 will enjoy 2-year warranty and be given an opportunity to win 7 MacBook, 27 iPad and 37 Apple Watch.

Opt for a lump sum payment to buy it completely; customers will be given a 7.000 mAh Maxco rechargeable backup worth VND 499,000. Customers can enjoy interest-free installment payments within 6 months besides 2-year warranty.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come with an IP67 rating that makes them “splash, dust and water resistant.” The iPhone 7 has made some significant improvements with a much larger f/1.8 aperture to let in more light (better for low light snaps in particular), a new 6-element lens and the long awaited addition of OIS.

Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus comes equipped with two 12-megapixel sensors; one features an f/1.8 aperture and wide-angle lens; the second features a telephoto lens, which supports 2x optical zoom and 10x optical zoom. As part of the two lens system, Apple is also introducing a “Portrait” mode, which allows users to achieve a pleasant bokeh effect for a more professional look.

Both devices are powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion chip, a 64-bit architecture the company says is 40 percent faster than the A9 in the iPhone 6S and the 6S Plus.
