According to the statistics by E-Commerce Association of Vietnam (Vecom), the market size of Vietnam E-commerce was quite large with 36% of the population using the Internet and 57% of them engaged in online shopping.

In Vietnam, in spite of joining the online retail for a short time, many companies have gained significant market shares such as Lazada.vn, Zalora.vn, Foodpanda.vn, Beyeu.com, Lamdieu.com, Solo.vn etc. Understanding great advantages of the online model, a number of retail companies have been promoting this sales channel as well as traditional ones. Such retail giants as Mobile World and Nguyen Kim have also strengthened online sales on Thegioididong.com and Nguyenkim.com.

In addition to the official website, FPT Shop Fanpage currently has over 550,000 likes. The rapid increase in the number of members created a spillover effect to support communication as well as online sales.
