FPT Shop takes lead in laptop market

According to GfK statistics, in Vietnam, FPT Shop ranks No. 1 in the laptop market. In 2015, 13 out ò 100 sold laptops are bought at FPT Shop, equivalent to 13% of market share. Only in January 2015, it has reached 15%.

In 2015, Vietnam’s laptop market only grew by 2.4% in terms of quantity and had almost no increase in value compared to 2014. This situation in 2016 is thought to be more difficult because Vietnam's laptop market is becoming saturated.

FPT Shop ranks No. 1 in the laptop market. In 2015, 13 out ò 100 sold laptops are bought at FPT Shop, equivalent to 13% of market share. Only in January 2015, it has reached 15%.

Currently, users of electronic devices tend to focus on the products at a reasonable price, with an ultraportable & lightweight design, long battery life and a good warranty. The "2 in 1" computer, a laptop with a detachable keyboard that is detached and used as a tablet is preferred.

Dell dominates the list of top 10 best-selling laptops in 2015 at FPT Shop.

Dell still dominates the ranking with 6 out of 10 products (including gồm Dell N3542, Dell N3558, Dell V5480, Dell N3543, Dell V5480 and N3442). It is followed by Asus with 3 out of 10 (Asus X553MA, Asus X554LA, Asus X453LA). Apple’s sole representative is MacBook Air, available in 13-inch.

In particular, Dell N3542 (2015version) still tops the list. Top 9 best-selling laptops range from VND 6 to 16 million.

According to GfK  in 2015, Dell is still the popular laptop brands in Vietnam.
