FPT Shop to directly import Apple products

On August 25, FPT Shop under FPT Retail held a ceremony to announce that the system became a direct importer of genuine Apple iPhone and iPad in Vietnam.

According to FPT Retail CEO Nguyen Bach Diep, Apple Singapore has selected FPT Shop as a direct importer of iPhone and iPad in Vietnam. This will make a significant contribution to improving source of supply and service quality for domestic consumers.

"Với việc trở thành đơn vị nhập khẩu trực tiếp các sản phẩm iPhone, iPad tại thị trường Việt Nam, FPT Shop sẽ chủ động hơn về thời gian và số lượng hàng hóa thay vì phải phụ thuộc vào nhà phân phối như trước đây", TGĐ FPT Retail chia sẻ.

More than 50 stores under FPT Shop system across the country will have the retail exhibition and experience corners of genuine iPhone and iPad that match with global standards. Each shop also has one or two professionally trained customer advisors who offer full information about products, apps and the latest technologies by Apple.

"As a direct importer of the iPhone and iPad in Vietnam, FPT Shop will be more active in terms of time and quantity of products. The company will not be as dependent on distributors as before,” stated FPT Retail CEO.

More than 50 stores under FPT Shop system across the country will have the exhibition and experience space of genuine iPhone and iPad according to global standards.

Being different from FPT Trading that is the official distributor of Apple products to stores and agencies nationwide, FPT Shop is authorized to sell genuine iPhone and iPad through its retail chain, which operates independently from the store chain branded F.Studio by FPT (also under FPT Retail).

Thus, FPT Retail becomes the only authorized Apple reseller in Vietnam which fully provide in all Apple’s retail formats. Besides FPT Shop, FPT Retail also possesses the chain store labelled F.Studio by FPT – which sell exclusively Apple’s products at two levels of APR (Apple Premium Reseller), AAR (Apple Authorized Reseller).

In mid May 2013, FPT Trading became the first authorized firm to distribute all genuine Apple products (including Mac, iPod, iPad, and especially iPhone) in Vietnam.
