FPT Software cooperates in training 4.0 translation HR

Within the framework of Translator Day 2019 with the topic "Localization and 4.0 translation trends", FPT Software signed a triangular cooperation agreement with Hanoi University and Expertrans on developing 4.0 translation and interpreting human resources for the Vietnamese translation market.

Accordingly, Hanoi University offers academic knowledge. FPT Software provides akaTrans – an IT translation tool using AI. Expertrans will help students with practical skills and work experience.

AkaTrans offers Akaminds Machine Translation solution converting Japanese to Vietnamese with an accuracy of up to 90% and a computer assisted translation tool integrated with multiple translators supporting more than 64 languages besides translation memory features to increase translation productivity.

Assoc. Prof. Doctor Nguyen Van Trao, the Rector of Ha Noi University said: “Translation requires professionals to master both language skills but also analytical skills. This cooperation will help us get more new updates and high-tech applications for training students specializing in translation and interpreting".
