FPT Software is honored by Da Nang Department of Information and Communications

Acknowledging the significant contributions in professional activities, economic growth and social welfare, the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang city awarded the certificate of merit for FPT Software Da Nang in the morning of August 26 at Software Park, No. 2 Quang Trung.

The meeting with ICT enterprises aimed at getting their feedback about the business environment, the operating conditions as well as the emerging difficulties in terms of policy and mechanism. It was also an occasion to honor and reward ICT enterprises with outstanding achievements in professional activities, significant contributions to economic growth and active response to social activities.

FPT Software Da Nang has made significant contributions to the IT development of the city. It is expected that the company will reach 10,000 people with a turnover of USD 300 million in the next 5 years.

Besides FPT Software Da nang, the leaders of Da Nang city also honored six other businesses including Viettel Da Nang, Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services Company in the third area, VNPT in Da Nang, Axon Active Vietnam in Da Nang, VBPO and DAPRICO.

Mr. Pham Kim Son, Director of Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang city stated that the meeting was an annual event to honor and exchange views between the authority and businesses, creating the most favorable conditions for their development. In the first 6 months of 2015, the Department strengthened the management to form a fair environment for enterprises to manufacture and run business activities. The ICT sector of Da Nang city grossed a turnover of over VND 7,500 billion, 47% higher than planned.

FPT Software Da Nang was founded on August 13, 2005. So far, the company has helped Da Nang become one of the three largest software export centers in the country. In the past three years, FPT Software Da Nang gained over 60% average growth rate per year.
