On October 25th, FPT Japan officially joined the "Beyond Blockchain Technical Program" by SBI Holdings and SBI Ripple Asia. The BBC program is a program to cooperate with program participants, aiming to train engineers on cutting-edge technologies such as block chain/distribution register technology (DLT) and virtual currency.

SBI Holdings and SBI Ripple Asia (its subsidiary) has launched "Beyond Blockchain Technical Program" (BBC Program) since October. FPT Japan is one of 24 participating companies at the start of the BBC program, besides some leading technology companies such as NTT Data, NRI, Microsoft Japan, IBM Japan, Oracle Japan and SAP Japan etc. Accordingly, FPT will assign its engineers to participate in technical workshops and study meetings.

The representative of FPT Japan joined the launching ceremony of “Beyond Blockchain Technical Program”.

Participating in this program will help FPT Japan in particular and other technology companies like FPT in general expand their business sectors and reach potential customers in Japan, Vietnam and Asia.

In the near future, in order to improve access to Blockchain technology for Vietnamese banks, it is expected that FPT and SBI will jointly set up Blockchain Technology Promotion Association for them.

FPT with a pool of engineers is always a pioneer in accessing and deploying the most advanced technologies to expand its supply chain not only in Japan but also in Asia and other parts of the world.

IBM has stated that, in 4 years, 66% of banks will have commercial blockchain at scale. Currently, most banks are still in the beta stage.

Blockchain, DLT and virtual money, which are the technological innovations, are expected to be applied in the financial services industry and others. However, these have not yet been widely adopted in Japan, Vietnam or Asia in general due to a lack of a systematic plan for all acquisitions and qualified engineers. Therefore, the demand for training courses in this field is increasing in order to enhance international competitiveness.
