FPT Software's New Office Grand Opening in Hue

The new launch aims to strengthen FPT Software's presence in the Central region and create jobs for thousands of local people by 2026.

The opening ceremony carried the message "Open Another World." FPT Software hopes to positively impact the ancient capital by utilizing technology power.

Hue is the fourth province in the central region (along with Da Nang, Quang Nam, and Quy Nhon) where FPT Software opens offices. The number of employees in this office is expected to reach 1,000 by 2025. The company will also expand the office in line with the labor force growth, with the expectation to accommodate 2,000 seats by 2026.

The office covers an area of nearly 1,000 m2 with full facilities such as large conference rooms, meeting booths, staff kitchens, security compartments with double-layer magnetic doors, and security cameras. The workspace design aligns with the CodeCation spirit with open space and green corners, bringing enjoyment and enhancing employee creativity.

FPT Software's branch in Hue will focus on Automation Tests and Customer Data Platform. The two key markets will be Japan and Korea.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Ha, Chairperson of FPT Software, said that the new branch in Hue would help establish strong cooperation with universities to improve the quality of the local IT workforce. The collaborations will create stable jobs and good income for the young generation in Hue and neighboring provinces. Moreover, they contribute to the development of Thua Thien Hue toward prosperity and happiness.

The branch in Thua Thien Hue will also attract and nurture the young talented workforce of the Central region to contribute to the development of their homeland. Currently, FPT Software has more than 6,100 Central Region employees, of which Hue people account for 10%.

Hue is one of the pioneer localities in the fourth revolution to turn information technology into a key economic sector. In addition, the ancient capital of Vietnam also had a skilled labor force. According to Thua Thien Hue Information Technology and Digital Communication Association (HueDita), the city has 13 universities and colleges with six faculties of information technology training in AI, Big Data, IT, IT Comtor... Total new enrollment is about 1,000 students per year.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho - Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Thua Thien Hue, said that the province has set a target of having 10,000 IT employees by 2025. The quality of information technology training has increasingly been enhanced. The local IT labor force has increasingly grown in expertise, meeting business requirements.
