FPT Software Opened Its 15th Office in Japan

On June 5, FPT Software's 15th office in Japan, located in Tochigi, was officially inaugurated. Nearly 100 customers, Japanese government officials, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan, and company executives joined the official opening ceremony.

The Tochigi office will provide the best shore model. This model combines the utilization of resources in Vietnam's offshore centers with local resources in the nearshore, reaffirming the commitment to accompany and bring more benefits to customers in the future.

Tochigi is designed to be an innovation hub in the region, to deliver advanced technology innovation and digital transformation, starting with potential customers in Tochigi prefecture such as Honda, Nippon Seiki, Canon Medical, Subaru, and later expanding to other regions in Japan and global markets.

During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - CEO of FPT Software, a subsidiary of FPT Corporation - emphasized that the Tochigi office's opening was a strategic move to expand FPT's footprint in Japan. "FPT is committed to investing in the sustainable development of the Tochigi Center," Mr. Tuan shared.

On this occasion, customer representatives and local officials congratulated and expressed gratitude to FPT Corporation. They also showed the desire to develop multilateral cooperation toward sustainable growth.

The Tochigi office currently has 30 employees and is expected to grow tenfold, reaching 300 employees within two years and aiming for 499 employees within three years to meet the transformation needs in the region. The office is located on the 5th floor of the Big B Square building, a 3-minute walk from JR Utsunomiya station.

Since the beginning of this year, FPT Software has opened offices in Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Romania, and others. Additionally, FPT in Japan has over 2,500 employees working currently in 15 offices across the country.
