FPT Software sets up ODC with Honda Techno Ford

Recently, FPT Software signed an agreement with Honda Techno Ford to establish an Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Hanoi. It is named Honda Techno Ford ODC, specializing in Engineering - CAD/CAE.

Honda Techno Ford ODC is established a year after the two sides got official cooperation. In 2015, General Director of Honda Techno Ford Mr. Kazunori Wantanabe visited and worked with the leaders of FPT and FPT Software to discuss bilateral cooperation opportunities in the field of CAD/CAE and proposed the opening of ODC.

Currently, Honda Techno Ford ODC has 16 members. The both sides expect the scale of the center will reach 200-300 people in the next few years. FPT Software is also making training and recruitment plans to meet this growing demand.

According to the representative of FPT Software, Honda Ford Techno expects that FPT Software can be directly involved in some production processes of the company in the future.
